Uses and Utilization of the Dashboard
This dashboard enables the relevant and/or responsible authorities and Planners to identify and screen the WS Systems by size to address pertinent needs and requirements more effectively and efficiently.
For example, planning & implementation of capacity building/skill development programmes cannot be handled in a single plane, as the scale of intervention, strategies and methodology differs according to the size of a WS system. Consequently, smaller systems require multi-skills development interventions to the respective CBOs, whereas, for comparatively larger schemes more specific and special skills development interventions may be required.
This dashboard facilitates the Planners to identify WS systems by size and address the capacity building/skills development needs effectively inappropriate groups.
CBO Location Data
When an office is available, its location will get displayed as the location of the particular CBO. If not, either the approximate center of the service area or the main reservoir location will be displayed as the CBO location.
Limitations
In the case of non-operational CBOs, the number of connections may be recorded as zero. Such CBOs will then get categorized under CAT 01 in such instances the real size of the WS system will not be exposed.

Utilization of the Dashboard
With this tool, one could screen the water schemes under different age groups. This would enable Practitioners to acquire data from RWS systems implemented during different periods of time and to utilize the lessons learned in the planning & implementing of new systems.
Researchers could utilize this dashboard to gather information on Social, Technical, Managerial, and Institutional aspects pertaining to CBO-managed WS systems and in general to learn the process of evolution of the sector over the years.
Limitations
The Year of construction of the source (Intake) is used as the basis for assessing the age of a system/CBO. Hence, when this data has not recorded the age of the particular system/CBO will not get displayed.
If the CBO Age is over 70 Years, the Baseline Data System will assume the data as invalid.
